REFLECTIONS: Studio Flash Tutorials
During our first tutorial / workshop for the unit, we were introduced to the basics of flash photography in the studio.
We were told how to power on and adjust the flash's settings, how to mount the flash trigger on the camera and the flash itself, and how to mount accessories (where we were advised to mount them in pairs cause it could get a bit tricky).
After a small brake, in groups we did a test shoot to try and capture the look of this photo:

Overall we seemed to be ok, and also learned the usefulness of a reflector (especially when working with shadows)
Just as an extra step, completely out of the original scope of the workshop, i edited the photo to try and match the look of the original:
