REFLECTIONS: Projector Set Up
To properly loop and map the projection on to the gallery space i had to use special software.
Fortunately i had previous experience with Resolume's Arena software. It's meant for projection mappings and VJ's, so it was perfectly capable of running the projection.
After connecting the projector and playing the clip, some alignment was necessary. This was easy using the Advanced Screen Set Up window, which then allowed me to distort the image in order for it to be flat on the wall and properly fit the printed picture frame.
Overall, i am pleased with the final projection. Here are some stills from the gallery space:
Also, on a side note: I like the pixel effect the low resolution projector is creating, i think it adds to the feel of digital memories.
