TIME ART: After Effects Workshop 2
Today we re-created a tutorial from http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/animating_a_still/
Although i've seen most tutorials from videocopilot.net, this for some reason slipped past me so i was glad that we did it in class.
It was quite interesting to see how instead of converting the picture in to 3D to create the camera move, it was simulated using a distortion filter called "Corner Pin".
Also, it was a nice to use CC Particle World, a plugin i don't normally use since for particles i use a third-party plugin called Particular. I saw that CC Particle World has a few things in it that Particular can't do, so i think from now on i'll be using both, depending on what shot i need.
This is my final render from our tutorial:

I've also added some things that we're not intended in the original workshop, such as the camera shake and a color grade.
