PROFESSIONAL TOOLKIT: Group Production Meeting 3

During our third meeting we discussed quite allot. Our main areas were assigning group roles, reflecting upon our synopsis, reading the feedback that we were given and production design of the set.

The group roles that we have settled on are the following:
Rob - Cinematographer
Thomas - Director
Dowan - Screenwriter
Julia - Producer
Lucy - Production Designer
Lauren/Shahid - Assistant Directors
Ulysses - Sound
Lydia - Grips
Joel - Assistant to the Production Designer
Molly - Script Supervisor / Continuity

However Lauren & Shahid may be also helping out Ulysses on sound.

Then, after reading Anne's helpful comment, we decided to modify our some of our artistic choices.

We are now also going to add elements of our original idea about a world without art, by creating a more surreal surrounding. Instead of just a typical slob's lounge, we are now going to attempt to create an more empty space with an infinite corridor to further deliver a feeling of seclusion.

On the practicalities of this after speaking to Lucy, the only possible way to have an infinite corridor is by using post-production to extend the set, therefore some tests should be done to see if it's feasible.

Dowan will be also re-writing the script to fit this, and will replace the middle aged man stereotype for a more developed character.

Lastly, again speaking with the entire team we were trying to figure out the practicalities of the shot where we see a pile of phones. We are considering trying to gather some phones from the production team, or maybe even trying to find prop phones.

All of our progress has been logged using the project management system mentioned in previous posts.
